We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Ithaca, NY. This opportunity is ideal for an L&D nurse who thrives in a maternal-child health environment and is comfortable caring for patients with both routine and complex needs.
Assignment Details:

Unit: Labor & Delivery / Maternal Child Health
Location: Ithaca, NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirements:
Active NY RN license
Labor & Delivery experience required
Postpartum experience preferred
Strong maternal-child nursing assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to recognize normal findings, deviations, and abnormalities
Excellent patient and family education skills
Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize both expected and unexpected patient needs
Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Must be flexible with scheduling based on unit needs
Willingness to float as needed, including within Maternal Child Health and other hospital departments
Candidates requiring specific days of the week are not eligible
Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
