We are a professional delivery company specializing in white glove delivery of furniture and home goods directly into customers’ homes. Many of the items we deliver are custom, high-value furniture, which means extra care, professionalism, and attention to detail are required at every step.
Our delivery team is often the final point of contact in the sales process, so professionalism, safety, and dependability are extremely important. We operate in two-person delivery teams and rely heavily on our drivers to show up ready to work each scheduled day.
Our delivery routes are based out of Chino, CA, and service areas include Santa Barbara, Coachella Valley, San Diego, and surrounding Southern California areas.
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable White Glove Delivery Driver to safely operate a company box truck and deliver furniture and home goods to customers’ homes.
This role involves heavy lifting, careful handling of high-value furniture, and providing professional in-home delivery service including room placement, assembly when required, and removal of packaging.
Typical Workday
A typical day includes:
- Arriving at the meeting location for truck inspection and safety checks
- Reviewing the day’s route and confirming delivery items
- Loading furniture and home goods onto the truck
- Completing deliveries to customers’ homes until the route is finished
Start times are typically 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM.
There is no fixed end time, as each day varies depending on route distance, number of stops, and delivery complexity. Applicants must be comfortable with this type of schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles (box truck)
- Load and unload furniture and home goods
- Deliver items inside customers’ homes using white glove service
- Carry items into homes while protecting floors, walls, and property
- Place items in the room of choice
- Perform basic furniture assembly when required
- Remove packaging and delivery debris
- Inspect items for damage before and after delivery
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries
- Follow delivery schedules and routes
- Complete delivery documentation or mobile app updates
Due to the value of the items delivered, this role requires extra care and precision to avoid damage to furniture or customers’ property.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75–100 lbs regularly
- Ability to handle large furniture pieces, sometimes over 8 ft tall
- Comfortable delivering items inside customers’ homes
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong teamwork skills (two-person delivery team)
- Ability to use basic hand tools for assembly
- Experience with furniture delivery, moving, or white glove delivery preferred
- Ability to pass background check and/or DMV record check (if applicable)
Schedule & Reliability Expectations
- Typically 3–5 work days per week
- Delivery volume varies, so weekly schedules may fluctuate
- On average drivers work around 4–5 days per week, but some weeks may be lighter depending on order volume
- Weekend availability is required
Because deliveries are scheduled with customers days in advance, dependability is extremely important. Emergencies and illness happen, but drivers are expected to give as much notice as possible if they cannot work so arrangements can be made and customers are not impacted.
