This individual will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring service quality, identifying areas for improvement, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all quality assurance activities related to home care services.
- Monitor and analyze caregiver performance, service delivery, and patient satisfaction.
- Conduct audits of patient records, caregiver documentation, and EVV compliance.
- Utilize the HHA Exchange platform to review, track, and improve operational and quality metrics.
- Investigate complaints, incidents, and service concerns and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations, Medicaid requirements, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain quality improvement initiatives and performance indicators.
- Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, and Coordination teams to improve service outcomes.
- Prepare quality assurance reports and present findings to leadership.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, documentation requirements, and best practices.
- Minimum 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in a Home Care Agency.
- Strong working knowledge of HHA Exchange required.
- Knowledge of NYS Home Care regulations and EVV requirements.
- Experience conducting audits, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
