About the Job
White Duck Taco Shop is a counter service restaurant dedicated to providing high-quality food and service with speed and efficiency. We are seeking a responsible and dynamic individual to join the FOH team at our South Asheville location. Food runners are responsible for delivering food to guests, busing tables, and keeping the dining areas cleaned and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Delivery: Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables promptly and accurately.
- Customer Service: Address customer concerns and special requests promptly and respectfully.
- Dining Area Maintenance: Bus tables and keep the dining areas clean and well-stocked throughout service.
- Support: Assist in prep and cleaning tasks during slower periods and assist the cashier in preparing alcoholic beverages as needed.
- Opening/Closing: Properly set up and close down the dining room as required.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow direction and communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and coworkers of various backgrounds and experience levels.
- Ability to multitask and balance speed with excellent service.
- Flexibility to work both day and evening shifts is preferred.
- Weekend availability is required for all staff.
