The Jail Administrator is responsible for the overall management, operation, and administration of the county jail. This position receives general supervision and reports directly to the Sheriff and/or Chief Deputy. Work is performed to ensure the safe, secure, humane, and lawful custody of inmates in compliance with Tennessee law, Tennessee Corrections Institute (TCI) standards, and Sheriff's Office policies. The Administrator provides strategic leadership to detention staff, manages facility resources, and coordinates with the judicial system and outside agencies.
