Position Summary
The Inventory Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and managing organizational supply levels. This role owns routine cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and supply ordering to ensure adequate stock levels across all departments. In addition to inventory responsibilities, the Inventory Coordinator supports the Warehouse fulfilling orders, performing daily pick reports, wholesale order preparation and keeping the facility organized and operational as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts across all inventory categories and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Update and monitor inventory data within the inventory management system.
- Assist with periodic store-wide physical inventories and internal audits.
- Identify trends or recurring inventory related issues and proactively communicate findings to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Own the ordering, tracking, and stocking of organizational supplies (warehouse, retail, range, office, and facilities).
- Establish and maintain minimum/maximum stocking levels for supplies to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Receive, label and properly store incoming inventory and supplies according to established warehouse procedures.
- Pick and apply price tags to inventory from the warehouse for pick reports, and stage for the sales team to put out.
- Assist the Shipping and Warehouse Supervisor with fulfilling customer and wholesale orders.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy.
- Prepare, verify, and package wholesale and retail orders for shipment or delivery.
- Help maintain organized and efficient warehouse, stockroom, and retail back/staging areas.
- Provide support for facility upkeep and maintenance tasks, such as organizing work areas, assisting with minor repairs, and maintaining clean, safe storage spaces.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or retail stock handling preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic proficiency with inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable using hand tools or assisting with basic maintenance activities.
- Dependable, organized, and a team player with good communication skills.
