Retail Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Whitaker Pharmacy is a locally owned, independent community pharmacy that has proudly served Mount Sterling and the surrounding area since 2001. We are looking for friendly, motivated Pharmacy Technicians to join our team immediately.

Responsibilities
- Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Enter prescription information into the pharmacy system
- Process insurance claims and assist with billing issues
- Provide excellent customer service at the register and over the phone
- Assist patients with questions and prescription pickup
- Help manage inventory and medication ordering
- Support the pharmacist with daily workflow and other pharmacy operations
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment
Qualifications
- Pharmacy technician experience is preferred.
- Retail pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Experience using PioneerRx pharmacy software is preferred but not required.
- We provide comprehensive on-the-job training to help our technicians succeed.
- Kentucky Pharmacy Technician Registration is required but may be obtained after hire.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
Schedule
- Full-Time: 32–40 hours per week
- Part-Time: Flexible scheduling available
- Pharmacy hours:
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Some Saturdays are required.
