Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks including repairs to building fixtures, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing lawns, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, planting flowers, and maintaining garden beds.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and heavy machinery like excavators for construction or landscaping projects.
- Maintain hardscape features including pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures through routine inspections and repairs.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep walkways and driveways safe and accessible if required
- Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, planting new trees, and removing hazardous limbs to promote healthy growth when required.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control.
- Familiarity with construction sites or hardscape projects is advantageous.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators safely and efficiently.
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required.
