What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at Whistle Stop Learning Center?
Whistle Stop Learning Center is looking for a full time assistant teacher to work in mainly in our Young Preschool & Toddler classrooms. Our Ideal candidate would be patient, flexible and work well together on a team. We are currently looking for someone to work approximately 4 days per week (40 hours) 8am to 6pm, it can make a set schedule for you if preferred. Days can be discussed.
7 staff members have been with us since we opened almost 4 years ago and a number more have been there 2-3 years! We have great staff retention, staff trips together, and a wonderful family atmosphere.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a High School Diploma
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified or willing to attend paid training in September
- Be willing to submit to fingerprinting clearance
- Must complete a minimum of 16 paid training hour yearly
- Have a strong work ethic, be punctual and dependable
- Have dependable transportation
Pay is based on experience and education.
