Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing curriculum development plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a structured yet flexible environment conducive to toddler care and learning.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that develop motor skills, language abilities, and cognitive growth, including teaching physical education and basic math concepts.
- Help with lesson planning and prepare materials to facilitate interactive learning experiences aligned with early intervention strategies.
- Foster positive behavior management techniques to encourage cooperation, sharing, and emotional regulation among toddlers.
- Support classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play while ensuring child welfare and safety standards are upheld.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's development.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques that support positive social interactions.
- Certification in childcare or early childhood education is desirable but not mandatory; ongoing training is encouraged.
