We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our multi-family residential community. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and tools such as ohmmeters and hand tools.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance to uphold the property's appearance and safety standards.
- Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and other building systems through repairs or replacements as needed
- Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and perform repairs efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or property management while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Lead small projects or assist in larger repairs with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multi-family or residential maintenance with a strong understanding of facilities maintenance practices.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience; familiarity with electrical work and plumbing system repair is essential.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems repair including troubleshooting thermostats, compressors, fans, filters, and ductwork.
- Experience working with schematics, technical manuals, and PLCs for automation troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents and team members.
- Ability to perform maintenance painting, carpentry tasks including drywall repairs or interior upgrades.
- Experience with maintenance, repair operations (MRO), building interior maintenance, and facilities upkeep is highly desirable.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
