Job Description:
A well-established property management firm is seeking experienced and dependable Maintenance Technicians to service several large apartment communities in Louisville, KY, specifically in the Okolona area.
This role offers competitive hourly pay and for qualified applicants, the opportunity to live on-site rent-free after a 90-day probationary period for on-call positions. We are looking for motivated individuals who are skilled in general maintenance and committed to quality work and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple apartment communities
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
- Handle work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
- Assist in apartment turnovers and renovations
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces, tools, and storage areas
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience required (pay starts at $18/hour with experience)
- Strong knowledge of general repairs: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC
- Must have a dependable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a clean background check
- Will be required to take a maintenance skills test
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-minded
- Must have own tools
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Perks:
- Base Pay: $18.00 per hour and up (depending on experience and knowledge)
- Free 2-Bedroom Apartment for on-call technicians (after 90-day probation)
