Dietary Server / Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that residents receive nutritious and appealing meals that meet their dietary needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, particularly within assisted living, nursing homes, or hospital settings. You will work closely with the dietary department to support meal preparation and maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food service equipment.
• Buss tables and assist with cleaning up after meals to ensure a tidy dining environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents during meal times, addressing any dietary concerns or preferences.
• Participate in training sessions related to food safety, sanitation, and dietary practices.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred.
• Familiarity with assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or hospital environments is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy meal periods.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for handling food.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure resident satisfaction during meal service.
• Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and serving is highly desirable.
