What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Entry Specialist position at Whisper Carts?
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Order Entry Specialist role is responsible for accurately entering and scheduling customer orders, managing order-related inquiries and ensuring timely processing to maintain customer satisfaction. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are processed accurately and timely.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong experience using MRP/ERP Systems
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Entering customer orders into the company’s Order Management System and verifying details.
- Reviewing orders for accuracy and resolving any discrepancies before processing/release
- Communicating with customers regarding order confirmations, status updates and any issues
- Works consistently with our Production, Inventory, Accounting and Sales Teams to schedule work orders for Landmaster, Whisper Carts and Specialty Carts production teams
- Create multi-layer Production and QC documents for each work order
- Create, manage and assign serial and PIN numbers for UTV’s and Golf Carts
- Assist with GPS Tracker assignments to necessary work orders
- Interfaces through Salesforce and e-mail with our field Sales Teams for status updates and special requests for both retail and wholesale teams
SKILLS PREFERRED:
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to prevent errors in order processing
- Customer service skills to address inquiries and resolve issues effectively
- Proficiency with order management systems, databases and office software such as Microsoft Excel and Word
- The ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills as the position may require collaboration with multiple departments
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
