Job Overview
We are seeking a Saw Operator to join our team. The Saw Operator will be responsible for the running of different saws in the Whiskey Grail process in order to create usable pieces for the assembly processes.
Responsibilities.
- Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, table saws, routers, sanders, and planers.
- Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts.
- Verify dimensions using caliper or ruler.
- Sand products using sander or sandpaper.
- Ensure wood isn't warped, cracked, or swollen.
- Use automated machinery, such as computerized numerical control (CNC) machines.
No prior experience is necessary, but experience in a shop is a plus, especially if it's with woodworking!
This job will require standing 8-10 hours a day, potentially lifting heavy items, as well as bending the neck for long periods of time while operating machinery.
