Job Summary: The Warehouse Production Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment used to cut, measure, and produce clips and rods for steel building components. This role involves working with measuring tools, handling materials, operating machinery, and ensuring parts meet production specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate clips and rods machines to cut and form steel components.
- Measure materials using tape measures and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor production.
- Cut, sort, and organize finished clips and rods by job or department.
- Inspect finished parts for quality and correct dimensions.
- Read work orders and production schedules.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Perform basic machine checks and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred.
- Experience using measuring tapes and hand tools strongly preferred.
- Ability to read measurements accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
