Role Description
As an EIT Traffic/Transportation Engineer at Whipple Consulting Engineers, you will contribute to the design, planning, and analysis of transportation and traffic systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with transportation planning, highway and roadway designs, and traffic engineering projects. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop innovative solutions while ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Spokane, WA.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Transportation Planning and Transportation Engineering
- Experience with Highway Design and Roadway Design
- Strong knowledge in Traffic Engineering and related analysis tools
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is required; intent to pursue PE licensure is preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software is a plus
