WhimSpire Child Placement Agency is seeking a self-motivated individual for the position of Foster Home Coordinator in Northwestern Colorado. Position is full time, and primarily serves the Montrose area. Foster Home Coordinators are responsible for the day to day support of licensed foster parents and are responsible for ensuring that licensing requirements are met. Bachelor’s degree is required. SAFE Home Study certification preferred but not required. Salary negotiable, excellent benefits.
Qualifications:Foster home coordinators must be qualified as placement workers in accordance with Colorado Rules Regulating Child Placement Agencies, and, be qualified to conduct SAFE assessments or obtain certification at first SAFE training offered post hire date. A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) plus relevant experience is the minimum educational requirement; a bachelor's degree in social work is preferred. Foster home coordinators must have an automobile available and a valid Colorado driver's license. Background checks, including but not limited to child abuse registry, criminal records and department of motor vehicle records checks will be made as a condition of employment.
