We are seeking an experienced and detail-driven Litigation Paralegal to join our reputable legal team focused on Plaintiffs’ litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases including personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and more in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. As a key member of the litigation support team, you will need organizational talent, litigation knowledge, and an ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Medical Records: Ordering and organizing medical records
- Deposition & Mediation Scheduling: Coordinate and manage calendars for depositions, mediations, and other key litigation events
- Discovery Management: Draft discovery requests, Draft discovery responses and gather and organize responsive materials in alignment with case strategies
- Trial Preparation: Assist in assembling trial binders, exhibits, witness lists, and logistical planning
- Scheduling: Coordinate court dates, depositions, mediations and client meetings
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal working in plaintiffs’ litigation
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; professionalism in client and team interactions
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, efficient, and able to manage a high-volume workload independently
- Team Fit: Positive, adaptable, and willing to help out where needed
