We are seeking a full-time Intake Coordinator/Legal Assistant for a plaintiff’s litigation law practice. This position will include thorough screening of clients seeking representation for new potential cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete thorough intake form for all new client phone calls.
- Review new matters for accuracy and completion, confirming that required documents and information have been gathered.
- Complete data entry of new matters into the firm’s case management software.
- Track and follow up on the status of case.
- Send decline letters when necessary.
- Medical Records: Ordering and organizing medical records for screening review.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience working in a law firm, preferable handling intakes.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; professionalism in client and team interactions.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, efficient, and able to manage workload independently.
- Team Fit: Positive, adaptable, and willing to help out where needed.
