What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Where We Shine Early Learning Center?
Position Summary:
Where We Shine Early Learning Center is in Lacey WA. We are looking for caring, compassionate full-time Lead Teachers for our younger preschool class (Preschool 1). You must have experience caring for preschool age children, teaching curriculum and leading activities. We are committed to providing top quality care and education for students who are enrolled in our program. Looking for upbeat energetic people who have a passion for working with children. Job Duties:
-Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning
-Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe including the preschool/childcare bathroom
-Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas
-Creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment
-Assist with activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practices, and program philosophy
-Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
