Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience
- Manage POS system, Toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills during busy hours
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment; fine dining experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and tipping calculations
- Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently
