Compensation: Base Salary $60,000–$70,000 Bonus Eligibility
Additional Compensation: $600/month auto reimbursement benefits

Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager for a direct hire opportunity supporting a Florida territory. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, increasing profitability, managing customer relationships, and expanding market presence within an assigned geographic region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, and experience building long-term customer relationships. This position requires extensive travel throughout the assigned territory and the ability to work independently from a home office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Territory Management

  • Achieve established sales and profitability goals within the assigned territory
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase territory revenue and market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale customers and key accounts
  • Regularly meet with customers to assess needs, strengthen partnerships, and promote products and services
  • Identify new business opportunities and prospect for potential customers
  • Develop sales plans to maximize customer growth and territory performance

Customer Relationship Management

  • Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, terms, and availability
  • Resolve customer concerns and issues promptly while maintaining high service standards
  • Maintain ongoing communication with customers to support long-term account growth
  • Understand all aspects of customer account profitability and business performance

Business Development & Sales Execution

  • Deliver sales presentations to prospective and existing customers
  • Negotiate customer agreements and sales opportunities
  • Support pricing strategies for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Prepare and submit sales contracts and documentation as required
  • Coordinate sales efforts alongside marketing initiatives and promotional activities

Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Document sales activity and customer interactions within CRM systems
  • Prepare weekly and monthly territory activity reports
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer engagement, and opportunities
  • Support special projects and additional initiatives as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience required
  • Proven history of achieving and exceeding sales goals and quotas
  • Demonstrated success increasing sales revenue and developing customer relationships
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience working remotely with a dedicated home office setup required
  • Must own a personal vehicle and be able to use it for business purposes
  • Ability to travel throughout assigned territory 2–3 weeks per month, including overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within appliance, HVAC, industrial parts, MRO, or related industries preferred
  • Experience managing sales territories and developing strategic growth plans preferred
  • Strong presentation and negotiation experience preferred

Work Environment

This position is home-based when not traveling and requires prior experience working remotely with a dedicated home office setup. Territory travel is expected approximately 2–3 weeks per month and includes overnight travel throughout Florida. Candidates should reside near Tampa, Clearwater, or Orlando due to client concentration within the region.
