Assistant Girls Basketball Coach - Possibly Head XC and Track
We are seeking a motivated and supportive Girls Assistant Basketball Coach to help develop student-athletes and support the head coach in running a successful program. This role emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities include:
•Assist the head coach with practices, games, and team development
•Support athlete skill-building, conditioning, and strategy
•Help supervise players during practices, games, and travel
•Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic accountability
•Assist with program logistics including equipment, uniforms, and team communication
•Collaborate with head coach, staff, and parents to support the program
Qualifications:
•Experience playing or coaching basketball
•Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
•Knowledge of safety procedures and UIL guidelines
•Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes
