Here's How We Support Our Team
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Evaluate business transactions and record journal entries in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, including supporting schedules and footnotes.
- Perform variance analysis, investigating and explaining fluctuations against budget, forecast, or prior periods.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and business unit teams to ensure proper transaction recording and to research and resolve variances or non-standard entries.
- Participate in the annual financial statement audit, providing schedules, support, and explanations as required.
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from management and business partners.
- Support process improvements and assist in strengthening internal controls within the accounting function.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or corporate accounting).
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems required (Infor M3 is a plus).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively across teams and with all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
