Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and schedules in accordance with corporate deadlines
- Prepare assigned month-end close journal entries, reconciliations, and general accounting processes such as general ledger analysis, accruals, and research
- Assist with completion and oversight of day-to-day banking transactions and various accounts payable functions
- Work with external and internal auditors
- Internal SOX procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- or an additional 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to independently meet frequent deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
