Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Bicycle Mechanic located in Springfield, MO. The Bicycle Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of bicycles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Daily tasks include assembling bikes, troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing tune-ups, and providing advice to customers on bike care and maintenance. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace and staying updated on the latest biking trends and equipment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bicycle Repair, Bike Repair, and general maintenance of bicycles
- Comprehensive knowledge of Bikes and bicycle components
- Strong Communication skills to effectively engage and inform customers
- Customer service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in a retail or bike repair setting is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in bike repair are a plus
