We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on heavy equipment, farm machinery, and automotive systems using schematics and electrical testing tools.
- Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and HVAC components.
- Fabricate parts or modifications as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Maintain and repair excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues related to automotive diagnostics and heavy equipment operation while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as tire service, shocks & struts replacement, brake repair, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections.
- Assemble new equipment or components following technical schematics and manufacturer specifications.
- Support customer service efforts by providing expert advice on equipment maintenance and repairs to clients or internal teams.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in dealership settings or industrial environments.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and electrical diagrams; familiarity with Caterpillar or similar brands is a plus.
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, soldering, and the use of power tools for custom repairs or modifications.
- Knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmissions, hydraulics, air brake systems, HVAC systems, and suspension components.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working in various environmental conditions.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills; customer service experience is advantageous.
