What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver at Wheatland Village position at Wheatland Village, a Generations community?
Caregivers at Wheatland Village assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while treating all residents with dignity, respect, and compassion. Caregivers follow resident care plans as directed by community leadership and comply with Federal, State, and Local standards for community operation. Our team incorporates the Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:
- Part-time in Memory Care, working Sundays & Mondays from 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and available to cover other AM shifts when needed
- Full-time in Assisted Living/Memory Care, available to work 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (not a double shift; will be scheduled on separate days)
- Full-time in Memory Care, working 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- Must have weekend and holiday availability
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred but not required.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
- CPR/First Aid certification training is available upon hire.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education
Required- High School or better in 0 - HS Diploma/GED or related field
