Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical repairs and basic vehicle troubleshooting to address common issues on-site
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and repair tasks for various vehicle types, including tow trucks and cars
- May also include some loading and unloading of equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients and ensuring their needs are met professionally
- Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance repairs performed, and fleet vehicle conditions for record-keeping purposes
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge in automotive, truck diagnostics and various repairs
- Knowledge of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic vehicle issues quickly and accurately using automotive diagnostics tools
- All tools and equipment supplied to perform daily tasks.
- Experience operating specialized equipment such as forklifts when needed for load handling or warehouse support
