What You’ll Do:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll serve as the central hub of communication between drivers, customers, and operations. Your role ensures every ride is dispatched smoothly and efficiently, helping us maintain the safe, reliable service zTrip is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Rides: Assign drivers to ride requests and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Monitor the Fleet: Track vehicle locations to improve route efficiency and reduce wait times.
- Communicate with Drivers: Provide real-time support, route updates, and instructions throughout their shifts.
- Handle Customer Inquiries: Address ride requests, questions, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Manage Schedules: Organize driver shifts and ensure proper staffing during peak hours.
- Optimize Routes: Plan smart routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Problem-Solve on the Fly: Respond quickly to traffic delays, vehicle issues, or other unexpected challenges.
- Maintain Records: Log ride details, driver performance, and any incidents for reporting and billing.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or dispatch is a plus.
- Experience: Previous dispatch, transportation, or customer service experience preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to interact with drivers, customers, and the team.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve challenges quickly.
- Organization: Excellent multitasking and time-management skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using dispatch software, GPS tracking, and office applications.
