Position Overview
zTrip is seeking a motivated and dependable Fleet Maintenance Technician I to join our growing maintenance team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with basic mechanical experience who are eager to develop their skills while helping maintain a safe, reliable, and efficient fleet. Working alongside experienced mechanics, you will assist with preventative maintenance, inspections, tire service, and general vehicle repairs that keep our transportation operations running smoothly.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift
- Weekend availability required as business needs dictate
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles
- Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
- Complete oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and basic mechanical repairs
- Repair and replace tires as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Work closely with senior technicians and supervisors to complete repairs efficiently
- Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of mechanical, automotive, or related maintenance experience preferred
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair practices
- Ability to repair and replace tires
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
