Senior Merchandise Planner

Overview:

This person is responsible for building, analyzing, and quantifying data to support the Wholesale business. Insights generated from this role directly impact sales, margin, inventory, and profitability across all Wholesale partners. This individual will support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities while monitoring key performance indicators such as product performance (s/t, turn, months of supply), sales, inventory levels, and receipt plans by account.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales, receipts, and inventory levels to monitor key KPIs, including s/t, months of supply, price buckets, and performance by brand/material for our major accounts.
• Work with the SVP of Wholesale to forecast (and re-forecast as needed) sales, margin and inventory at a brand/material level in response to changes in trend, strategy, receipts, or overall business conditions.
• Develop and present seasonal assortment plans aligned with sales projections, historical performance, and feedback from our Merchandising team.
• Partner with Buying and Sales teams on monthly inventory planning; identify top styles, underperforming areas, and opportunities for optimization.
• Make data-driven recommendations related to markdowns/aged returns, transfers, brand/material reallocations, and broader merchandising strategy adjustments.
• Maintain reporting and provide actionable insights to support sales growth, margin improvement, inventory productivity, and turn objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across planning, reporting, and forecasting processes.
