Duties
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople by handling hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving materials, equipment, and supplies around the site
- Follow all construction safety regulations diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and site safety procedures
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans for various projects including renovations, restorations, or new builds
