Welder β 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift
We are currently seeking dependable and skilled Welders to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position responsible for welding, assembling, finishing, and inspecting metal components while maintaining quality and production standards.
Work in a comfortable, air-conditioned weld shop while gaining hands-on experience with a variety of welding processes and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have previous welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work from blueprints, welding symbols, specifications, and work instructions. Experience with both manual and robotic welding is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding as required
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Set up and adjust welding equipment according to job requirements
- Position, clamp, and secure components for welding
- Operate and monitor welding equipment and automated welding systems
- Remove excess weld, slag, and spatter using grinders, files, chippers, and other tools
- Grind, sand, file, and finish components as needed
- Inspect and measure completed parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Read and follow blueprints, welding symbols, work instructions, and production specifications
- Maintain accurate part counts and properly identify completed work
- Report defective materials or quality concerns
- Perform basic equipment maintenance as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Assist with other production duties and workstations as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of welding experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Welding certificate or formal welding education preferred
- Robotic welding experience or FANUC certification is a plus
- Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and processes
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to successfully complete a welding skills assessment
