Food Production & Packaging Associate

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Food Production & Packaging Associate to join a growing food production operation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, staying active throughout the workday, and learning different areas of the production process.

The ideal candidate will assist with packaging finished food products, preparing products for production, and supporting various stages of the manufacturing process. Employees will be cross-trained across multiple areas of the operation, providing an opportunity to develop a broad understanding of food production and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Package finished food products according to company standards and specifications
• Prepare food products on trays and ensure they are properly organized for the production process
• Assist with hands-on food preparation and production activities
• Operate and assist with production equipment and machinery as trained
• Inspect products for quality, consistency, and proper packaging
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
• Follow food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
• Work effectively with team members to meet daily production goals
• Be willing to learn and work in multiple areas of the production operation
• Perform other general production duties as needed
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous food production, food manufacturing, bakery, packaging, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to be cross-trained and assist in different areas of production
