About Mashup Food Hall: Mashup is a high-energy, boundary-pushing food hall and Genuine Work is a collaborative, coworking space - both located in Louisville's NULU neighborhood. Home to culinary creatives, pop-up chefs, a full bar, and a steady rotation of community activations, Mashup is designed to be a place where locals and visitors gather to eat, drink, work, and play-all under one industrial-modern roof.
Position Overview: We're looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager who isn't just a closer-they're a connector, a strategist, and a community-minded advocate for everything Mashup stands for. This role is responsible for driving visibility, filling the hall with energy and guests, and building strong cross-sector partnerships. You're equal parts hype-person and planner, bringing our brand to life through outreach, events, tourism connections, and a marketing strategy that turns awareness into action.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales & Partnerships
- Identify and secure group sales opportunities from hotels, tourism organizations, local employers, convention groups, and residential partners
- Build and manage relationships with corporate clients, travel planners, and regional event organizers
- Develop creative outreach strategies that convert awareness into visits and partnerships
- Track sales pipelines, outreach efforts, and performance metrics tied to occupancy, group bookings, and private events
- Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Work with leadership to develop and execute marketing plans aligned with seasonal programming and vendor needs
- Collaborate with the Programming Manager and Bar Team to promote special events, menu launches, vendor spotlights, and pop-ups
- Manage advertising channels (social, email, local publications) and coordinate photography and content development
- Maintain and grow Mashup's presence in community calendars, tourism guides, press releases, and digital listings
- Community Engagement & Representation
- Serve as a visible representative of Mashup at industry events, neighborhood meetings, tourism functions, and local happenings
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with downtown stakeholders, hotel concierges, NULU businesses, and community organizations
- Coordinate cross-promotional campaigns with nearby businesses, festivals, and cultural events
- Venue Visibility & Space Activation
- Support vendor and bar sales through smart promotion and creative traffic-driving ideas
- Develop seasonal campaigns that create urgency and bring foot traffic through the doors
- Ensure that coworking, private events, vendor carts, and chef residencies are consistently marketed and booked

- Strong understanding of marketing tactics across digital, print, and experiential
- Knowledge of the Louisville hospitality, tourism, and events landscape a major plus
- Willingness to work some nights/weekends for community and promotional events
