What You’ll Do

• This position is accountable for the following maintenance planning activities:
• Responsible for planning, workflow, materials and equipment for the maintenance team to support high reliability while ensuring a safe work environment.
• Create and confirm with maintenance leadership priority work for upcoming downtime windows
• Follow basic requirements for planning maintenance work
• Job plan development to follow standard planning templates
• Manage reporting and tracking processes for completed work
• Work directly with vendors, contractors, maintenance, and purchasing to plan and prioritize maintenance work.
• Coordinate with purchasing and vendors to ensure parts availability.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Must have positive safety behaviors and expectations.
• Experience using computer maintenance management systems consisting of work orders, preventative maintenance, equipment records, purchases, parts, and spares.
• Proficient in Maximo, SAP or another computerized maintenance management system.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess analytical skills needed to streamline large volume of information and computer data while preserving relevant historical information.
• Ability to work with maintenance and team members on the mill floor to ensure proper needs are being met to maintain the machinery
• Previous involvement with maintenance planning
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize purchasing, planning and maintenance work with production requirements.
• Ability to purchase, expedite, and stage materials for planned maintenance work; follow-up to ensure that the purchasing and planning are aligned to effectively complete maintenance activities as intended.
• Deploy best practices, replicate processes, and continuous improvement as a part of work ethic.
• Ability to accept assignments and ability to work several assignments simultaneously and effectively.
• Ability to work any time to meet mill needs. Could be varying times - nights, days, weekends, etc.
• The following qualifications are Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Wood Products Industry maintenance experience
