Assembly Technician – Hydraulic Cylinders

We’re a locally owned manufacturing company with a small, supportive team, and we’re looking for a reliable Assembly Technician to help build hydraulic cylinders. If you enjoy hands-on work, are comfortable using tools, and take pride in doing things right the first time, you’ll fit in well here.
This role is a great match for someone with manufacturing experience who values steady work, good attendance, and flexibility in their day-to-day tasks.
Pay & Schedule
- Starting pay: $18–$20 per hour (based on experience)
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
What You’ll Do
- Assemble hydraulic cylinders and related components
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and accurately
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and proper fit
- Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist with other shop tasks as needed — flexibility is important in our small team
What We’re Looking For
- Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Strong attendance and reliability — this is a must
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new tasks and help where needed
- Safety-minded with a positive, can-do attitude
