We’re looking for an enthusiastic On-Air Personality to become the face of our brand. If you’re a natural entertainer with a love for sports, entertainment, and a flair for live streaming, this role is your chance to combine passion with performance.

As part of our growing team, you’ll host interactive live streams, showcase high-demand products, and connect with an engaged audience of collectors. You’ll also play a key role in representing WeTheHobby at industry events and helping build our digital & physical presence.

What You’ll Do:

• Go Live with Confidence: Host exciting live-streamed sports card breaks, delivering energy, entertainment, and expertise to captivate viewers.
• Engage with Fans: Create a welcoming and interactive atmosphere, responding to audience questions and building relationships.
• Showcase Products: Promote current and upcoming products, emphasizing their value to both seasoned and new collectors.
• Maintain High Integrity: Carefully handle, organize and/or sleeve high-value products during live sessions, ensuring quality and accuracy for customers.
• Build the Brand: Collaborate with our marketing team to generate social media content and expand WeTheHobby’s online reach.
• Attend Industry Events: Represent the brand at card shows and community events, connecting with collectors and partners.
• Innovate the Experience: Continuously improve how we engage, entertain, and grow our fanbase through feedback and creativity.

• Natural Performer: Comfortable in front of a camera, with a lively and engaging personality.
• Attention to Detail: Organized and meticulous with card handling, sorting, sleeving, and shipment preparation.
• Exceptional Communication: Clear, charismatic, and personable verbal skills to educate and entertain simultaneously.
• Diverse, Energetic, Entertainment: Someone who's willing to think outside the box to provide the best quality entertainment for our fans and viewers.
• Adaptability & Drive: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Bonus Points For:

• Previous experience in live broadcasting, sales, or eCommerce.
• Familiarity with platforms like Fanatics Live, Whatnot, and TikTok, plus experience using streaming equipment.
• Knowledge of break-specific terms (e.g., “case hit”, “1:1”, "parallel cards," "rookie autos") within the sports trading card industry.
• A social media presence in the sports or hobby industry.
• Background in collectibles or related industries.

In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated pre-commission base salary upon hire for this position based upon location in Rochester, NY, and experience is $40,000 annually.

On-Air Personalities earn on average combined total compensation of $85k - $110k annually.
