Westview Manor of Peabody is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Business Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial and human resources operations of our skilled nursing facility.
This position plays a vital role in supporting our residents and staff by ensuring payroll is accurate, financial records are maintained, employees are onboarded efficiently, and regulatory documentation remains compliant.

Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Process employee payroll accurately and on time.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial reports.
- Assist with monthly financial reporting.
- Maintain resident trust accounts.
- Prepare invoices and process payments.
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking.
Human Resources
- Coordinate recruitment and hiring.
- Schedule interviews.
- Complete new hire onboarding.
- Maintain employee personnel files.
- Process background checks and employment verification.
- Ensure employee licenses and certifications remain current.
- Coordinate employee orientation.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Assist with benefits administration.
- Assist department managers with staffing needs.
Administrative
- Answer phones and assist visitors professionally.
- Maintain office filing systems.
- Order office supplies.
- Assist with regulatory audits.
- Maintain compliance with CMS, KDADS, OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
- Support the Administrator and Director of Nursing with administrative projects.
- Participate in leadership meetings.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum two years of office management, bookkeeping, payroll, or HR experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting.
- Payroll processing experience.
- Human Resources experience.
- QuickBooks experience.
- Experience with payroll and HR software.
