Food Service Manager

Westshire Elementary School is seeking a caring, energetic, and organized Food Service Manager to join our elementary school team. This position is ideal for a flexible and warm individual who enjoys working with children, values teamwork, and is excited to think creatively while providing healthy and appealing meals for students. The Food Service Manager will be responsible for the daily preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks while ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment. Responsibilities include:

li>Prepare and cook nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas
• Order food, supplies, and kitchen inventory as needed
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Work collaboratively as a member of the school team
• Create a positive dining experience for children
• Be open to trying new ideas and recipes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred
• Willingness to complete all required Food Safe and food handling training
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, dependable, and enthusiastic attitude
• Genuine enjoyment of working with children
