- Strong knowledge of facilities management, including building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems;

- Under the Director's guidance, supervises maintainers, contracted service providers, and other assigned staff.
- Assists the Director in evaluating staff performance, identifying training needs, and reinforcing departmental standards.
- Assigns, prioritizes, and monitors work tasks to ensure timely, high-quality completion.
- Supports implementation of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as acting supervisor in the Director's absence, as assigned.
- Oversees daily preventive and corrective maintenance operations in accordance with district standards, established schedules, and Director-approved priorities.
- Coordinates work activities with school administrators to minimize disruption to instructional operations.
- Assists with operational assessments, equipment evaluations, and recommendations for system improvements.

- Assists the Director with regulatory compliance related to building codes, environmental regulations, OSHA requirements, and fire/safety systems.
- Supports districtwide security initiatives, emergency preparedness, and incident response activities.
- Helps maintain documentation required for inspections, testing, and regulatory reporting.
