Job Description
A Tank Finishing Technician is responsible for completing the following duties:
- Install valves, brackets, sensors, and other accessories onto tanks
- Perform electrical wiring and component installation as required
- Buff, deburr, and polish aluminum surfaces to meet quality and safety standards
- Ensure tanks are free of sharp edges, contaminants, or visual defects
- Perform light welding or tack welding for accessory mounts and structural components (if certified/required)
- Assist with minor fabrication adjustments or repairs
- Conduct leak testing, pressure testing, and visual inspections to verify structural integrity and compliance with specs
- Document quality checks and report any defects or inconsistencies
- Clean, cap, and prepare tanks for secure transport
- Package accessories, complete documentation, and stage tanks for delivery
- Weekly paycheck
