Key Responsibilities
As a Painter, you will be expected to complete:
- Surface Preparation: Remove rust and spatter through sanding, and clean steel surfaces to eliminate oils and cutting fluids.
- Painting Process: Apply paint to finished production items and sub-assemblies with precision.
- Equipment and Maintenance: Accurately mix paint, correctly set and adjust paint equipment, and perform daily maintenance on painting tools.
- Quality Control: Mask off areas that should not be painted, use proper painting techniques, and inspect finished jobs for issues such as runs or missed spots.
- Documentation: Keep the paint booth in order and complete all necessary paperwork.
- The starting pay range for this position is $20-$24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
- Night shift positions receive an additional $3 per hour shift differential
- 4:30pm to 5:00am, Monday - Thursday
- Weekly paycheck
- Boot reimbursements up to $125
