Westmont College seeks a qualified and motivated nursing faculty member to serve supporting its graduate (MEPN/CNL and MSN/CNL) and undergraduate (ABSN) nursing programs. This position focuses on teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the growth of our nursing program. We are looking for a candidate with a strong clinical and academic background who is passionate about educating and inspiring the next generation of nursing professionals. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in nursing education, student formation, and professional practice.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach graduate nursing courses
- Integrate Christian faith with teaching and learning
- Mentor and advise students in academic, clinical, and professional development
- Contribute to curriculum development and program implementation
- Engage in scholarly and professional activity
- Support clinical partnerships and student learning experiences
- Participate in faculty governance, program evaluation, and accreditation processes
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD) required
- Current RN license (California eligibility required)
- Expertise in clinical practice, leadership, or systems-based care
- Teaching or mentoring experience preferred
