Status/Shift: Full Time Day, 7am-3pm
Occasional Weekends/Holidays
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive knowledge of at least one of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, Freon, HVAC, required
- At least five years prior experience or technical training in maintenance is preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Active Driver’s License required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Possess a basic mechanical aptitude
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems.
- Maintains the community’s grounds to include mowing lawns, trimming, snow removal, etc.
- Completes maintenance work orders as assigned including, but not limited to, duties of a skilled maintenance worker, testing/inspection of community systems, etc.
- Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the community electrical and utility systems.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems.
- Participates in community preventative maintenance schedule.
- Maintains safety systems within community (security, fire alarms, emergency call systems, access systems, nurse call systems, patient wandering systems).
- Repairs and maintains technical physical structures and systems including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, Freon, HVAC systems, etc.
