Home Health Aide
Job Overview
Become a home health Aide!!!!!
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated candidates who would like to become a certified home health aide and have the opportunity to provide exceptional care assistance to residents in our assisted living facility.
This role involves training in our facility to provide support to residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence within the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, wiliness to learn and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those they serve.
Responsibilities
- Training by our RN Director of Nursing to:
- * Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- * Training to observe resident conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly.
- * Training to record and document patient information accurately using Electronic Health Records (EHR) or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- * Training on use assistive devices to aid mobility and transfers
- * Training to monitor vital signs and weights.
- * Training in the areas of CPR and First Aid

- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Follow HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times

Skills
- Must be 18 years if age with a high school or equivalent diploma.
- Compassionate caring approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and protocols
- Physical stamina to assist with resident mobility, transfers, and household tasks such as cleaning.
