- Work style: Mobile hybrid (#LI-Hybrid) — on site 2-3 days per week
What you'll tackle
- Execute project engineering to achieve customer milestones and deliverables.
- Author design reports and technical specifications that stand up to nuclear-industry scrutiny.
- Perform hand calculations and use design-by-rule formulae to substantiate designs.
- Lead the end-to-end design process: estimate costs; write functional/design specs; produce detailed designs with supporting calculations; develop tooling concepts; run design reviews; generate final manufacturing drawings; follow fabrication and assembly; qualify tooling; train personnel; support the first field deployment of new tooling.
- Create/update procedures and drawings to support both design and field activities.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and functionally test electro/mechanical equipment.
- Master software used to perform inspection activities at nuclear plant sites.
- Engage vendors and internal engineering teams to secure the inputs needed to execute work.
- Recommend and help implement continuous process improvements.
- Support field implementation and on-site troubleshooting of inspection equipment at nuclear facilities.
What you bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 years of relevant experience.
- Exposure to nuclear power plants and familiarity with nuclear industry requirements (a plus).
- Understanding of non-destructive examination techniques (a plus).
- Knowledge of robotics, multi-axis scanners, and control systems.

Base pay reflects our commitment to transparent and equitable practices. The estimated salary range, based on experience, qualifications, and skills, is $85,200.00 to $106,500.00 per year.
