Facilities Custodial Technician

What this role looks like day to day

Based onsite in Bridgman, MI, you’ll be the go-to professional helping keep a critical facility spotless and safe. This short-term contract begins mid-September and runs through about mid-October. You’ll report to the Utility Supervisor and collaborate with a close-knit crew. The schedule includes overtime.

Your impact

• Clear dust and debris from floors, connecting rooms, ramps, and walkways using standard custodial practices.
• Pull refuse and replace liners to maintain clean, orderly spaces.
• Sanitize restrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Disinfect high-touch points and keep dispensers stocked.
• Use correct cleaning products and methods to support a healthy environment for all facility users.
• Handle and label chemicals properly; post wet floor signs; promptly report hazards or safety concerns.
• Follow site procedures, company policies, and safety standards at all times.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or educational equivalent (High School / GED).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Local to the Bridgman, MI area.
• Be able to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.

• Estimated base pay: $16/hour to $17/hour (dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills). We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices.
